With a contractor for a father, Tracey grew up around construction and the building industry. For as long as she can remember, she was interested in houses; as a child she spent hours drawing pictures of them. Tracey got her bachelor’s degree in environmental design from NC State and after a three year architecture internship in Charlotte, she attended UNC-Charlotte and received her bachelor’s degree in architecture. Now a licensed architect and LEED accredited professional, Tracey’s professional experience has focused primarily on custom residential and multi-family design; she also has experience in commercial and adaptive-reuse projects.
It was through the construction of her own master bathroom addition that she was introduced to The Hands of Sean Perry Co. team. The team’s sense of pride in the work and easy collaboration made the project a smooth and positive experience for everyone involved. Tracey was also impressed with the unique professionalism and integrity of the team. As a result of getting to know the team as a client, Tracey was offered the opportunity to share her expertise in creating perfectly integrated and crafted projects for future Hands clients. She enjoys working on challenging projects and collaborating with the clients and the “Hands” team to create the ideal solution for each project.
Most of her free time is spent chasing her 18 month old son, Gavin. But when given the chance, she enjoys yoga, hiking, watching movies, reading, and spending time with her husband, Peter, and their family and friends.
