Cherished Chestnut

This Reynolds Mountain home was greatly enhanced through several renovation projects and the utilization of beautifully repurposed American Chestnut, a cherished favorite of the homeowners. In addition to a complete remodel of the master bathroom, the fireplace was redone with gorgeous stonework from floor to vaulted ceiling, and then finished with a chestnut mantel. New cabinetry doors and face frames were also constructed of chestnut while utilizing existing cabinetry carcasses for cost savings. A new front door made of mahogany now opens to entry columns, re-trimmed in venerable chestnut.
