Downtown Asheville
Historic Vitality
Believed to be the oldest standing commercial structure in Asheville, 37 Biltmore (1845) was brought back to life when The Hands of Sean Perry Co. completely rehabilitated and built out the second and third stories to accommodate three modern apartments.
The initial work addressed major structural issues: significant rehabilitation to ensure the long-term health of the foundation. The renovation process included new plumbing, gutting the interior, electrical and HVAC work, and finishing all ceilings, floors and fixtures. When completed, the project was a realization of the owners’ vision since purchasing this historic building several years previously.
